Summary:

Essential Functions:

Design, develop, implement and document enterprise applications that enhance user expertise; implement standards, conduct independent research and provide training to IT staff and customers; study existing enterprise applications to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve functions and efficiencies; use a structured process that incorporates VOC, CAP, DMAIC and problem solving (e.g. Knowledge Transfer) to define, design and implement solutions; confer with BU staff to understand business needs, system inputs and outputs and current deficiencies to co-design optimum solutions based on specifications and constraints; work with customers to analyze and solve business problems using enterprise applications; maintain project plans, proactively identify potential issues and implement risk  mitigation measures; maintain regular and appropriate communications to managers, technical staff, and business unit stakeholders; lead and contribute to cross-functional project teams that address customer initiatives or IT infrastructure needs; review and assign the dissemination of training to customers and IT staff; provide support and mentoring to junior staff members who cannot find resolutions to open issues.

Qualifications:

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable.  5 years experience in job offered or as Enterprise Systems Functional Specialist-ERP COE, SAP Systems Analyst, or Senior Consultant, or any combination thereof.

5 years experience (may be gained concurrently with the above experience) in:

  • Supporting incident resolution, production stoppages, business continuity, and root cause analysis in SAP PP/QM functional areas
  • Translating business issues into opportunities for development of new products, services and innovative ideas, including:
  • Forecasting performance issues and developing performance development techniques in SAP Enterprise resource planning tool
  • Supporting business users to identify root cause of issues raised by user
  • Understanding the issue and process requirements and guiding the user with best optimized solution
  • Monitoring System performance daily to maintain smooth running system for users
  • Conduct Go-Live Support, Transition, User Training, and Warranty Support
  • Contribute ideas to Cost/Effort Saving, Leverage Organizational Assets (Tools, Templates, and Practice SMEs)
  • Analyze IDOCS, ALE interfaces failures in production system
  • Sort multiple repeated issues by providing small developments in SAP Production planning and quality management areas
  • Worked on customization settings for PP Master Data, namely BOM, Routings and work centers, in a discrete manufacturing environment
  • Configure make-to-stock strategies
  • Configure demand management plant parameters for MRP such as MRP groups, MRP controllers, MRP types, planning calendar, planning horizon and lot-sizing procedures
