Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $72,000 and $96,000. The Inside Sales Specialist will interact with current and prospective customers within the local market to provide support for business relationships and assist sales staff with activities aimed at achieving business growth and revenue targets. The position will provide service to customers in the areas of sample requests and initial business inquiries.
Essential Functions:
- Direct account responsibility- Create contacts, build rapport and communicate with selected accounts not supported by the outside sales team on a regular basis to maintain and grow business
- Provide timely response to customer inquiries and requests for product or technical information, pricing, delivery, or other requests
- Field incoming customer inquiries through our Rogers Solutions Center. Provide timely responses to technical questions, requests for product recommendations or sample materials.
- Review, qualify and assign grade to all incoming leads and disseminate to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Enter sample requests from customers, sales engineers, and other departments into the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Ensure that the requests are entered into the system in a timely manner and that all information required for effective follow-up is captured
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant business field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred:
- BS Engineering/Science or BS Business Marketing
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or engineering in a highly technical environment
- Experience using customer relationship management systems tools and reporting functions. SalesForce.com experience preferred.
- Experience analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement
