Job Description:
Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment. This will also include troubleshooting requiring the ability to handle various tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Interact with equipment operators in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow established schedules to ensure equipment and systems are functioning optimally.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment and facilities.
- Assist with minor repairs, including fixing plumbing, electrical, or HVAC issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 4+ years’ maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of single and three phase electrical equipment. DC, PLC and schematic abilities a plus
- Hydraulic and Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- General construction knowledge (i.e. plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Certified forklift operator or ability to become certified
- Respirator certified or ability to become certified
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.
- Basic conceptual understanding of mechanical operations
- EPA 608 certification a plus
- Bi-lingual is a plus
