Job Description: 

Summary:

This role will assist with assigned shipping and receiving functions to assure all materials are shipped and received in a timely manner.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $20.00 and $23.00 p/h. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and premium pay. Essential Functions:

  • Package and receive materials in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Communicate with various departments regarding product quality issues, material availability and processing issues.
  • Load and unload trucks using a fork lift. Operate these fork lifts safely in accordance with established procedures.
  • Work with engineering and production on continuous improvement/Six Sigma projects as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment (5S and clean-up work area).  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
  • 1+ years shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing environment
  • Certified forklift operator with 1+ years of fork lift experience.  If not certified, willing and able to become certified
