Job Description: 

Summary:

Sales support ownership of customer leads, including customer interaction, customer satisfaction, and promoting growth.  Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the samples function. 

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $67,000 and $87,000. Essential Functions:

  • Sales support ownership of reviewing, qualifying and assigning grades to all incoming leads and disseminating to the appropriate internal account owners for both CEM and Specialty businesses. 
  • Receives incoming customer inquiries and provides timely responses to customer requests for product or technical information, pricing, delivery, or other requests.
  • Accurate entry of sample requests into customer relationship management (CRM) tool, ensuring all required information is documented for follow-up.
  • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the samples function, including maintaining inventory of product sample materials and facilitating customer shipments in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction and promote growth.
  • Responsible for supervising the Samples team.
  • Tracks and maintains accurate records of sample requests and shipments, and inventory transactions within the company's customer relationship management system. 
  • Works closely with departments throughout the organization such as sales, customer service and manufacturing to expedite requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Previous experience supporting inside sales or customer service.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
