Job Description: 

Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring that business and IT resources are aligned to deliver maximum value from enterprise transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP-enabled process standardization and adoption. This role provides strategic oversight and direction to ensure that all business transformation programs align with the company’s operational objectives and are delivered successfully.

Essential Functions:

  • Successfully manages aspects of an ERP implementation that includes business transformation and process optimization across multiple geographies.
  • Leads end-to-end business process ownership across Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure global standardization and adoption of SAP-enabled processes.
  • Partners with functional leaders to define business process priorities and ensure alignment with enterprise goals and the SAP deployment strategy.
  • Identifies process gaps, business readiness issues, and cross-functional decision points; drives resolution with business leaders to support SAP deployment.
  • Leads a team of Business Process Owners (BPOs) responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing end-to-end global processes.
  • Drives change management at the business level, ensuring adoption of new SAP processes, business rules, and operating procedures.
  • Partners across key functional areas to deploy transformational change practices, including training, change strategies, and tools to stay attuned to organizational readiness.
  • Works with senior leaders to identify and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, transformation, capability development, and value creation.
  • Ensures ongoing development and deployment of best practices and world-class capabilities across the organization.
  • Executes strategic direction and provides leadership on initiative or program alignment, stakeholder management, and executive communications.
  • Builds and manages relationships with department leads, key stakeholders, suppliers, partners, and functional organizations.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure business scope definition meets short- and long-term objectives.
  • Manages and drives resolution of business-related risks, issues, and decisions, including dependencies that impact SAP deployment, and develops appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Works with stakeholders and partners to coordinate day-to-day activities related to process ownership and transformation.
  • Owns and executes business change controls, using them to manage and limit unnecessary scope changes.
  • Manages resources assigned to the program, monitors commitments, and engages leadership when staffing levels require adjustment.
  • Identifies, documents, and understands process and workstream dependencies, and measures program success through clear metrics and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior management role in a business with exposure to technology-enabled transformation
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex ERP implementations, strategic programs, and project delivery
  • Establishes working knowledge of the organization’s business production processes and operational functions
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles with basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting
  • Extensive experience working in a fast paced, cross-functional and cross-team environment and being the Functional go-to person with multiple business partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships with others, a demonstrated customer focus, teamwork skills, and a willingness to share technical and business knowledge with team members.
  • Works with senior management to establish strategic direction, operating policies, and to aid in major project planning.
  • A demonstrated ability to implement processes and standards and effectively communicate those across a technology organization.
  • Proven ability to lead in a multi-function organization on a global scale
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
