Summary:
This role will develop Salesforce solutions of simple to medium complexity to meet the needs of users and drive business success. Collaborate with other developers and IT members on designing high-quality, scalable solutions. Own the resolution of service tickets to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Follow development principles, standards, and leading practices.
Essential Functions:
- Designs, codes, tests, correct, and documents solutions of simple to medium complexity. Deploy software that forms part of a properly engineered solution.
- Owns the assigned investigation and resolution of issues relating to programs and applications. Takes on or assists with specified maintenance procedures.
- Uses appropriate methods and tools in the development, maintenance, control, and distribution of coding solutions. Makes technical changes to development environments.
- Proactively manage incidents, user requests and projects to provide complete resolution of reported problems according to SLAs.
- Interface with users, both internally and externally, to gather feedback and implement changes required to provide the best tools and most up to date and pertinent content as possible.
- Maintains a coding environment that is reusable, understandable, and simple to modify or debug with version control (e.g., Git).
- Collaborate with integration teams to seamlessly connect Salesforce with other business systems and applications.
- Work with Information Security to design, develop and test application security features that comply with policies.
- Thoroughly documents solutions and adheres to development standards.
- Provide training and support for other Rogers employees on web leading best practices, key concepts, and current trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development or related field, or relevant Salesforce developer certifications.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant developer experience, with a strong knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Experience in a multi-tiered architecture with languages and frameworks, such as Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, SOQL, etc. working with an integrated development environment, such as Visual Studio.
- Familiarity integrating Salesforce with third-party systems and APIs.
- Sound experience working with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Gearset, Jenkins, etc.
- 10% travel as needed.
