This role will develop and determine approaches to objectives demonstrating in-depth understanding and application of principles, concepts, and benefits of expanding new technologies in Advanced Electronics Solutions (AES) products. The candidate acts as a lead engineer in the performance of technical analyses which involve the development and execution of system level supporting reference design development focused on effective Radio Frequency (RF) Solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and develop system-level reference design to demonstrate the value of RF Solutions Leading Automotive and Aerospace products for OEMS and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to innovate and expand AES current and future products in applications using new technologies that are beneficial to OEMS, key customers, and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Actively participate in technical proposals describing system engineering capability design approach
  • Knowledgeable in RF product portfolio, and display technical expertise regarding the limitations and applications
  • Provide technical support by working directly with customers to understand specific technical requirements, and ultimately recommend appropriate products that meet their needs
  • Customer on-site visits, applications survey, provide product samples and system reference demo according to customers’ needs to support sales and marketing
  • Develop presentation materials for key customers to demonstrate the use of assigned materials developed by AES
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams globally
  • Assist with development of product information and system-level applications supporting marketing and sales teams

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, and 8+ years’ experience in RF industry with strong EE foundations, preferably as an applications engineer   
  • Deep understanding of new technology trends especially in RF applications
  • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers
  • Experience in development and design of electronic system-level demonstrations which incorporate advanced material solutions, for RF
  • Self-driven, focus, and have excellent teamwork skills
  • Solid communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with vendors and 3rd party solutions
