Summary:

Als Category Buyer bei Rogers Corporation sind Sie für die lokalen CapEx-Einkaufsaktivitäten verantwortlich und entwickeln und implementieren eine Lieferantenstrategie für die zugewiesene Kategorie, wobei Sie eng mit internen Stakeholdern und Lieferanten zusammenarbeiten.

Essential Functions:

• kaufmännische Verantwortung für CapEx Buying und Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern
• Entwicklung, Umsetzung und Etablierung einer Lieferantenstrategie für zugewiesene Rohstoff-Kategorien mit Fokus auf Kosten-, Liefer- und Konditionsoptimierung
• Verwaltung und Entwicklung von Preis- und Rahmenvereinbarungen in rechtlicher, logistischer, kaufmännischer und technischer Hinsicht (Anforderungshinweise, Spezifikationen, Standards) in enger Abstimmung mit Stakeholdern
• Identifikation und Entwicklung lokaler/globaler strategischer Lieferanten, basierend auf den Geschäftsanforderungen
• Aktive Unterstützung der Wirtschaftsplanung der zugewiesenen Kategorie
• Verfolgung und Verbesserung relevanter KPIs gemäß der globalen Ziel- und KPI-Definitionen
• Projektarbeit in enger Zusammenarbeit mit SCM, R&D und Ops
 

Qualifications:

• Ausbildung: Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre/Engineering oder abgeschlossene kaufm. Berufsausbildung mit entsprechender Weiterbildung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung: >5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Einkauf und >5 Jahre Erfahrung im Category Buying
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der lokalen Vertragsgesetzgebung
• Fähigkeit, mit allen Ebenen der Organisation sowohl regional als auch global zu interagieren
• Fähigkeit, sich schnell an sich ändernde Prioritäten und Arbeitsumgebungen anzupassen
• Liebe zum Detail in einer globalen Strategie
• Profunde Kenntnisse von SAP R/3, MS Office-Tools und Sourcing-Plattformen
• Ausgeprägkte mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten (Deutsch & Englisch)
• Verhandlungsgeschick
• Reisetätigkeit: bis max. 15 %
