Essential Functions:

Essential Functions:

  • Establishment of an application and test center for power modules
  • Support for the development of new substrates and materials for new innovative power modules
  • Screening of trends and new technologies in the design and manufacture of power modules
  • Use of modern construction and connection techniques for the construction and testing of demonstrators (power modules)
  • Identification of optimization potential in existing module concepts
  • Evaluation of new concepts with regard to customer requirements and the benefits for customers
  • Maintaining partnerships and collaborations with customers and research and development institutes
  • Cooperation with marketing and sales in identifying existing and new customer needs
  • Focus on the development of new products, materials and processes in the field of power electronics and the components required for this, such as substrates, coolers, etc.
  • Cross-functional teamwork


Required Education, Skills, Experience:

  • Engineering degree (UNI / TH / FH) / Bachelor / Master / PhD in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering / physics / materials science
  • Knowledge and experience in assembly and connection technology in power electronics
  • Good understanding of the mechanical & electrical design of power modules
  • Understanding of technology and market trends as the basis for technology and product developments
  • Goal-oriented and structured way of working
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good spoken and written German and English language skills

Preferred Education, Skills, Experience:

  • Agile way of working in the implementation of new innovative ideas
  • Analytical skills and strong logical thinking skills
  • Experience in risk management, resource planning, design control, product development
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma
  • Experience in the application of modules in power electronics
