Job Description: 

Summary:

The position is the technical expert responsible for developing, optimizing and supervising the manufacturing process of polyurethane foaming and the head of the sample team. This position involves leading/supporting all stages of new product development and fully participating in the continuous improvement plans of new products and processes, ensuring product quality and safety compliance, and providing technical guidance to the production team.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead, guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams (suppliers, engineering, quality, production, etc.) to complete the preparation from material to sample requirements and before mass production.  30%
  • Be responsible for the trial production from raw materials to samples and small-scale production before the transfer to mass production.  20%
  • Lead the team to develop and optimize various polyurethane foam manufacturing methods.  10%
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex process and material issues during the development.  10%
  • Be responsible for the optimization of material formulas and the development of new processes.  5%
  • Prepare experimental and testing plans and implement them.  5%
  • Ensure product and process compliance with quality standards and regulations, including conducting process validation.  5%
  • Develop and release process documentation, such as SOPs and MSPs, and report on process performance, etc. 5%
  • Other arrangements of the supervisor. 10%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • More than 2 years of experience in the foaming industry, familiar with polymer materials
  • Be able to operate the foaming casting machine
  • successful experience in the development of related products
  • Be good at excel data analysis and power point reports
  • Basic English reading and writing skills
