Job Description: 

Summary:

A Rogers Corporation Buyer is responsible for sourcing, procurement, negotiating and on time delivery of expense, supply, MRO, production, service items and some raw materials.

Essential Functions:

1.Responsible of Raw material purchasing for operation needs from existing supply base 30%

2.Build and maintain a strong supplier base to support business development. Work with cross function to catch the right demands and match right supplier.  Evaluating supplier performance and driving supplier’s improvement on quality, delivery, lead time, service etc. 30%

3.Create and maintain the purchasing data in ERP system timely and present reports and analysis to internal customer to take necessary action accordingly meanwhile tracking orders timely. 15%

4.Continuously material total cost improvement by new multiple approaches 10%

5.Independent leading NPI and 2nd sourcing to support business growth. 10%

6.Complete other assignment from time to time by supervisor. 5%

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree

2.4-5 years purchasing and sourcing experiences in automotive industrial

3.Understanding supplier base, cost analysis , supplier management and marketing intelligent is plus

4.Good communication and negotiation skill.

5.Knowledge of ISO/TS quality system.

6.SAP experience is preferred

7.Project Management experience
