Job Description:
Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations, as well as assists implementing yield, process and product improvements.
Essential Functions:
- Ensuring and continuously improving the product quality of AMB substrates as well as reducing costs and waste
- Analysis of existing manufacturing processes and identification of innovation ideas.
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of tests and transfer of the results to production including implementation of process capabilities.
- Development of innovative processes to produce AMB substrates as well as maintenance and further. development of existing processes and their evaluation from a technical and economic point of view.
- Accompaniment and support of R&D projects from the feasibility phase through the sample phase to suitability for series production.
- Implementation of internal projects in cooperation with the department’s product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, marketing, and sales.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in scientific/engineering degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of metallic and ceramic materials.
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Hands-on mentality, structured, careful and responsible action and work.
- Confident demeanor and assertiveness
- Willingness to continue learning.
- Willingness to travel abroad 3 months.

Preferred：
- Safe handling of IT (MS Office, SAP)
- First points of contact or qualification in a recognized method for improving processes (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
