Job Description: 

Summary:

This role is responsible for enhancement of customer satisfaction through risk mitigation of products and processes. Supervise development, implementation and verification of product and processes related to internal and external quality requirements. Work in conjunction with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality objectives are met. Ensure product/process conformity to internal, customer and third party regulatory requirements. Actively work as part of a highly integrated product line team.

Essential Functions:

  • Result-oriented work with a focus on process optimization / problem-solving strategy
  • Supervise / moderate FMEA and create control plans to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Proactively optimize quality within our production processes.
  • Provide support in addressing customer and supplier complaints.
  • Participate in customer visits and audits to uphold quality standards and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate and support manufacturing alignment across different sites.
  • Contribute to various projects (CIP, new developments, increase in efficiency, etc.)
  • Implement and monitor compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and attend to process auditing.
  • Conduct defects and weak point analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (BE, ME).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in process optimization / problem-solving strategies / FMEA moderation.
  • Strong Statistics and analytics skills
  • Familiarity with quality techniques (FMEA/CP/QFD/8D/DOE/3*5Why/SPC/MSA);
  • Knowledge and experience on IATF16949 and VDA6.3;
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and prefer candidate in ProFicient, APIS, minitab, and SAP.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English language
  • Confident demeanor and assertiveness with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in automotive business is preferred.
  • Travel Requirement:  10%
