Job Description: 

Summary:

Assists in the accuracy of defect detection as well as the correction/improvement of products and processes. Leads development, implementation and verification of product and processes related to internal/external customer and regulatory quality requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • 1.Work with operation team to continual improves the product capability with robust quality management system. 
    Maintain and optimize product criteria with inputs from global specification, customers, lessons learnt etc. 
    Provide OJT training and work as judgment on criteria if there is any variation
    Customer request review and work out the related reports as required    30%
    2.Be responsible for defects analysis (including external and internal feedback), process potential risk management, and quality plan to drive for corrective action and improvement. 
    Improve the employee’s quality awareness.          30%
    3.Vendor management to ensure all the received materials could meet the specification and work with team to provide right reaction if there is anything wrong/need improving.    30%
    4.Other work assigned by supervisor    10%

Qualifications:

  • 1.Bachelor degree, at least with 3 years quality engineer experience in a manufacturing plant
    2.Be familiar with Quality Tools - APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA and CP, ISO9001 and IATF requirement, VDA 6.3
    3.Data analysis skills, be familiar with MS Excel, Minitab
    4.Able to think clearly & sensibly, able to work logically based on facts
    5.Accountability and good team spirits
    6.Good command of English & communication
