Job Description: 

Summary:

The role will have a deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) or RF concepts and be able to design/simulate/optimize HSD (High Speed Digital) circuits and perform the related testing and evaluations. This role is responsible for driving technical marketing activities to support the company's products and technical expertise. This role will work closely with marketing, sales, R&D, product management, and engineering teams to create technical content, including testing data, design parameters, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and webinars, that communicates the benefits and value of our products and services.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform SI and electrical characterization studies of Roger high performance circuit materials
  • Responsible for evaluating and documenting the performance of Rogers circuit materials in a variety of high-speed applications
  • Assist customers with HSD circuit design issues to aid in the design-in activities of products; provide design parameters, perform design verification, material selection, review testing results and modeled results
  • Support Rogers technical teams to troubleshoot customer HSD performance issues, material interactions, PCB fabrication variables and define root cause
  • Support the Sales and Marketing group as a technical resource to assist with HSD application concepts regarding our literature, technical presentations, papers and trade show events
  • Develop and maintain technical sales tools, such as product demonstrations and evaluations, to support the sales process. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, microwave engineering, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in HSD field, understanding of SI concepts and fundamentals
  • Experience with SI design, analysis and troubleshooting, desired experience for RF or mmWave frequencies
  • Experience with Ansys software HFSS or other EM software
  • Program coding software for engineering support is desired, such as: LabView or Python
  • Experience with test equipment (PNA, TDR, Oscilloscope...) 
  • Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication process is desired
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external
