Position Title: Product Manager- Hybrid IL

Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing assigned products from the Elastomeric Material Solution's BISCO Silicone product line. Develop and execute the overall market strategy & plans consistent with the overall strategy for the division and companies corporate objectives. Manages new product pipeline, pricing, promotion, and channel to achieve overall financial and market objectives. Oversees one or more individuals and will be responsible for their success and development.
Essential Functions:
Product Management: Managing product life cycles including all elements of revenue and profit growth, business planning, execution, and reporting. Working with market segment leaders, sales teams and customer to ensure the achievement of revenue and profit goals. Work across functions to ensure opportunities are identified and addressed. Identity and drive cost reduction opportunities to ensure achievement of overall profit goals. Manage pricing on a day-to-day basis to maximize profitability considering competitive and cost environment. Report out regularly on product line performance and outlook to senior leadership.
New Product Development: Assess business gaps and develop product and technology road maps in response. Drive new product development to ensure achievement of overall revenue and profit goals. Work with segment leaders across product line to ensure silicone opportunities are being identified and delivered.
Key Customer Management: Manage key customer relationships in conjunction with global sales team and market leaders. Provide strategic guidance to drive growth with key customers.
Strategic & Tactical Planning: Oversight of strategic planning for assigned silicone products. Setting annual objectives, creating plans, and monitoring execution. Monitoring competitor activity for managed product lines, segments, and channels.
Team Development: Recruit, retain, and develop team members in reporting roles.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years industrial product line management experience.
- Experience conducting market research and analysis
