Summary:

This role is responsible for developing and successful execution of the Automotive market segment strategy for the Elastomeric Material Solutions Division.  This role requires a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competitive landscape to drive growth and profitability.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is $118,700 and $170,000. Essential Functions:

  • Market Development: Supports the development and regional execution of global automotive market strategy consistent with divisions goals and objectives to drive revenue growth. Responsible for managing the North America segment/sub-segment strategies by prioritizing and leading programs/project to identify and pursue market opportunities.  Close collaboration with Channel Marketing to support the development and growth of strong customer relationships. Ensures global strategies/plans are adopted and broken down to the various regional needs. Works with local and global sales teams, marketing and technical teams to develop the most effective strategy and tactics to successfully win segment opportunities. Subject matter expert in assigned market.
  • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Manages competitive intelligence collection by analyzing market trends, competitor activities as well as customer needs to identify and understand growth opportunities within the competitive landscape. Responds quickly and effectively to competitive positioning to achieve the desired growth objectives. 
  • New Product Development & Innovation: Establishes product roadmaps and specific business cases to support divisional new product design, development, and complete market introduction through Rogers R&D processes, working with global development resources to achieve defined customer and business financial goals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 8+ years of industrial or automotive product marketing or technical sales experience directly linked to the industrial and automotive market.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. 
  • Willingness to travel and work independently.
