Job Description: 

Summary:

The EHS Administrator will assist the Environmental Health and Safety Department in maintaining regulatory compliance through chemical inventory database management, data acquisition, review and submission of reporting, and the revision, updating, and posting of EHS documentation. Additional duties specific to water and air data collection and reporting will be assigned as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database; and perform reviews and management of new chemicals for R&D and operations.
  • Assist in recordkeeping and data collection to support the Environmental program compliance and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Work with Corporate EHS to ensure programs are updated and available through internal resources.
  • Verify the external website has the most recent SDS information, and update as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination of the customer reporting databases.
  • Submission and follow-up for requisition and invoices.
  • Digitization of hard-copy records for retentions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • 1+ years of environmental and/or safety experience preferred
