Job Description: 

Summary:

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support by processing and testing developmental new product dielectric materials and reporting and documenting results in a timely manner.  

Essential Functions:

  • Work with circuit processing equipment as necessary to move materials through the various printed circuit board processing steps. 
  • Utilizing a state-of-the-art laboratory and technical center, perform printed circuit board tests as necessary to maintain project schedule. 
  • Summarize product test plan results and document accordingly. 
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and processes to ensure uptime and safe use for manufacturing.  
  • Provide technical assistance to business unit when technical and/or quality problems arise in production/experimental runs.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree preferred; may consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education. 
  • 2+ years of laboratory related applications or materials testing experience.  
  • Experience in a technical laboratory environment supporting technology/product development and/or quality assurance. 
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. 
  • Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail to ensure accurate planning and test execution. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team and roles. 
  • Ability to implement creative solutions to solve problems.
