Rogers Corporation is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer as the proactive driver of all Sales and Key Account activities for market OEM’s and fabricators in the Ohio and surrounding areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively define sales plans for significant growth within a competitive and emerging application technology market.
  • Meet or exceed key metrics for revenue growth, operating profit, and market share in regional target sectors – across the whole product range.
  • Generate unique value for key target companies & OEM’s.
  • Modify sales plans & strategy to achieve significant growth opportunities, new products, R&D supported project solutions, customized product applications, and appropriate service solutions.
  • Constantly analyze market trends and competition and provide timely and accurate submission of sales forecasts and territory growth projections.
  • Drive profitable volume growth and market coverage by value selling and systematically generate revenues and execute commercial plans.
  • Initiate, maintain and grow influential client relationships with key accounts and ensure effective and constant lead generation in liaison with customers.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer.
  • Personally leverage group products and campaigns and drive and support additional sales activities through the OEM’s subcontract manufacturers.
  • Manage key program activities at key manufacturers and coordinate technical support to ensure smooth running of programs once designs have been won.
  • Track and coordinate global sales at manufacturers for programs won within territory.
  • Drive customer relations to increate total customer loyalty.
  • Ensure highly efficient communication and teamwork with regional Sales Managers, Technical Service, global R&D, Product Development, Marketing, Customer Service, group functions and all external interfaces.


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering plus 3 to 7 years’ industry experience
  • Experienced in direct technical sales, with a proven track record of increasing sales
  • Experienced in working with and/or managing global accounts (directly and indirectly) – OEM’s, fabricators, and assemblers
  • Experienced in CRM and Demand Planning processes and tools
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in the English language
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers without direct supervision
