Job Description: 

Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing various accounting tasks within the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. This role will also provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities and will collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support effective financial planning
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and resolve any accounting-related issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial procedures and recommend process improvements as needed.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with financial analysis, conducting financial research, or supporting external audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting
  • Proficient in using accounting software and financial management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
