Job Description: 

Summary:

This role supports aligning the requests of the customer with production capabilities. Position provides technical engineering design data and information to ensure a lean manufacturing flow of the products for small to medium sized projects.  This position also supports production departments and project teams as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system as applicable to the role with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Provide 2D and 3D design data to production to ensure the manufacturability of products.
  • Provide clarification of technical requests from internal and external customers.
  • Support the production departments regarding industrial engineering topics. Assist with assessing and clarifying the requests and participate in decisions to ensure streamlined production.
  • Provide support for operations projects. Act as central point of contact for technical capabilities and design topics, ensuring stable and quality focused production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of computer aided design experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of engineering design tools and methods
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
