Job Description: 

Summary:

The EHS engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring safety and environmental programs for Suzhou Campus to prevent or minimize potential for injury and/or financial loss due to accident or non-conformance to city, county, state, or federal regulations.

Essential Functions:

•Develop and implement Rogers Safety Management System in assigned BU. Conduct Daily Safety and Environmental inspection and follow up the findings.
•Have the previously experience and knowledge about the wastewater environmental engineering.
•Conduct the safety assessment for the wastewater treatment system, coordinate the safety improvement for the system.
•Maintain the environmental protection relative data (such as online system) and make analysis report for management team and government. Make sure the compliance. 
•Conduct the monitoring about the environmental protection system, coordinate the 3rd part/contractor to maintain the environmental protection system.
•Develop and deliver the necessary environmental training and drill in assigned BU, verify the effectiveness, conduct & promote the safety Q&A, and other safety activities.
•Maintain understanding of existing and upcoming EH&S regulations and deliver the key message to assigned BU management team, support to run the safety committee. 
•Attend department activities, share knowledge and skill with peers. Complete monthly report and assigned department affairs. Lead team to succeed.
•Develop and maintain the compliance of EHS, such as environmental EAP, hold necessary drill and follow the findings; Lead the incident investigation and provide technical support on root cause analysis and corrective actions, track the close status.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Chemical safety management, Safety Engineering, or related 
•5+ years’ experience in EHS area.
•Prefer to previously experience in multinational company, experience in manufacturing firm will be a plus, Knowledge about Environmental engineering and Environmental Protection, Safety and Facility etc.
•Good English on written and spoken.
•National Certified Safety Engineer and ISO 14001 certified auditor are preferred.
