Job Description: 

Summary:

As the Manager, SAP Change Management, you will play a critical role in facilitating the smooth transition to SAP technology (implementations, migrations, upgrades) across all levels of the organization. The position will align users with new business processes, SAP applications, job roles and organizational structures to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes and the realization of benefits from the SAP technology. They will use change management, communication, and training approaches and methods to prepare end users to effectively utilize SAP and demonstrate continued adoption.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans aligned with project objectives and schedule. To include change strategies, communication plans, training development, and user support and feedback.
  • Collaborate with project teams to assess the readiness of users for SAP technology changes (implementations, migrations, upgrades). Identify key changes, gaps, and pitfalls. Work with project teams to address or mitigate potential issues.
  • Create and deliver engaging communications to ensure new process and technology changes are being appropriately communicated to stakeholders.
  • Define and execute training plans (courses, materials, methods, tools, schedules, logistics) for different stakeholder groups to educate them on business processes and SAP functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to end users, addressing questions, concerns, and issues related to the use of SAP. Identify and address potential barriers to user adoption and ensure a smooth transition to SAP.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders. Provide quantitative and qualitative assessments as to the effectiveness of user adoption. Adjust as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, or similar field or equivalent work experience. SAP certifications and Prosci certifications beneficial.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in change management and user readiness responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management and user adoption with SAP projects.
  • Strong understanding of change management, communications and training principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence different user groups.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Travel Requirement:  10%
